Once you have signed up using the registration form to the HfKM, an invitation to the aptitude test will be sent to you. Once you receive the invitation, please apply for your visa in time, since the processing time of the visa application can be very long.
After passing the aptitude test, you will receive an acceptance letter from the HfKM with which you can apply for a residence permit at the Immigration Office of the city of Regensburg.
Conditions for a residence permit are:
- Acceptance letter
- Financial security during the period of study
- Valid health insurance
- Bank account with a credit institution in Germany
International contacts / partnerships
The HfKM is internationally networked and is in close cooperation especially with the St. Gregorius House Tokyo, the daughter Institute of the HfKM. In addition, the HfKM cooperates with the German Academic Exchange Service E.v. (DAAD) ("life learning programme (LLP)"). Regarding the ‘Erasmus’ and ‘Sokrates’ study programmmes, the HfKM is in conjunction with the University of Opole (Poland), the University of music and performing arts in Prague (Czech Republic) and the Catholic University in Ruzomberok (Slovakia). There is also an interchange with the colleges of music in Piteå (Sweden), Lisbon (Portugal) and Zagreb (Croatia).
